Decision on harmonized monitoring of resistance to antimicrobial preparations of bacteria of the genus Salmonella in poultry and pigs.

This Decision, which is also in accordance with the provisions of article 7 and Annex II of the Regulation the monitoring of zoonoses and zoonotic agents (published in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina 46/2010), determines detailed rules on harmonized monitoring over the resistance on antimicrobial preparations of bacteria of the Salmonella genus in poultry and pigs.
Collection of isolated bacteria of the genus Salmonella and their analysis are carried out by the competent veterinary inspector authority, in accordance with technical specifications set out in the Annex which is attached to this publication (containing detailed technical indications and specifications, also in relation to antimicrobial preparations). Data collected by testing programmes on the reduction of the presence of certain salmonella serotypes and results of related analysis must be available to the public in a form that provides credibility (article 3).
