This General operational action plan in the event of an emergency occurrence of a harmful organism on plants and plant products has the purpose to enable all persons who ensure the health of plants to take appropriate measures to prevent the introduction and spread, and measures to eradicate the harmful organism, in an organized and timely manner, within their competences. The general operational plan is applied in the event of an emergency occurrence of a harmful organism that is not present on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) or is present and not widely distributed, and it is estimated that it can cause significant economic damage in agriculture, forestry and the environment. This plan will be used in the development of individual operational plans in the event of an emergency occurrence of a certain harmful organism or group of harmful organisms that, due to its biology, the specifics of the situation and the techniques of suppression and/or eradication, require special measures to be taken.
