Abstract
This Law defines the concept of cooperatives, establishes all necessary rules and administrative procedures, regulates the internal organization and management, further prescribing the necessary assets and business/economic/financial issues.
As defined by general terms of this Law, cooperative is a voluntary organization, in which every member participates directly and equally, and where joint operations, according to the principle of mutual assistance, are aimed to promote and protect its economic and other interest.
The Law is divided into IX Chapters and 40 articles, including the offences and related penalties.
