Abstract
This Law prescribes the form, manner (management and legal and administrative status) and rules for the correct establishment and work/operation of cooperatives on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As defined by this Law, cooperatives are organizations with voluntarily associated members with the aim to meet their common economic, social and cultural needs and aspirations, through the joint ownership and democratic-controlled economy (business) and actions.
The Law is divided into XVI Chapters and 98 articles, including monitoring duties and offences and related penalties.
