Program of special surveillance over the presence of the quarantine harmful organism Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae Takikawa et al. – the causative agent of bacterial canker of Actinidia spp. on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes measures, deadlines, method of implementation of measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of provision and use of funds, area of operation, as well as the method of control of implementation of measures of special surveillance over the presence of Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae Takikawa et al. - the causative agent of bacterial canker of Actinidia spp. on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The aim of this program is to determine the presence, or rather the absence of the quarantine harmful organism Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae - the causative agent of bacterial canker of Actinidia spp. on agricultural holdings, in production plantations and in home gardens. The only host of this pathogen is kiwi (Actinidia spp.). Special surveillance shall be conducted to investigate localities where kiwi is grown in the Republika Srpska in order to determine the status of the investigated area for the specified organism, and to determine possible routes of entry or spread.
