Program for special surveillance of the presence of quarantine pests on stone fruit trees on the territory of the Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes the measures, deadlines, method of implementation of measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of provision and use of funds, as well as the method of control of the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of quarantine pests on stone fruit trees in the Republika Srpska during the year 2024. The objective of this program is to determine the presence, or absence, of quarantine pests at the places of production of planting material, in production plantations of host plants, and at the places of entry of consignments of planting material of host plants imported into the Republika Srpska. Special surveillance for the detection of quarantine pests shall be carried out at the border and throughout the territory of the Republika Srpska where the production of planting material is based and where production plantations of host plants are located. Special supervision and inspection measures shall be carried out by the Republic Administration for Inspection Affairs and institutions authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management to carry out tasks of public interest in the field of diagnostics of harmful organisms and plant health protection.
