Program for special surveillance of quarantine pests on potatoes in the Republika Srpska in 2025.

This Program determines the measures, deadlines, method of implementation of measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of provision and use of funds, as well as the method of control of the implementation of measures for special surveillance of quarantine pests on potatoes in the Republika Srpska during the year 2025. The objective of this Program is to determine the presence, or absence, of quarantine pests on potatoes at the points of entry of potato consignments imported into the Republika Srpska, as well as at the places of production of seed and commercial potatoes, in distribution centers and at storage locations. In order to achieve the stated objective, a wider area, i.e. localities where potatoes are grown in the Republika Srpska, shall be surveyed through special surveillance in order to determine the status of the surveyed area in relation to the target organisms, and to determine possible routes of their entry and/or spread in the Republika Srpska. The aim of special surveillance shall also be to meet the phytosanitary conditions for the production, movement and, in particular, the export of potatoes.
