Abstract
This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, area of operation, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of special supervision measures as regards the control of the presence of Acidovorax citrulli (Schaad et al.) - the cause of bacterial spotting of watermelon fruits, in the Republic of Srpska during the year 2021. The aim of this Programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine harmful organism Acidovorax citrulli that causes bacterial spotting of fruits such as watermelons at seedling producers, on agricultural farms, in production of crops of plant species of pathogen hosts and at points of entry of such plant varieties in the Republic of Srpska, which are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import. Potential plant species hosts this pathogen are plants from the family Cucurbitaceae, namely: watermelon, melon, cucumber and squash, or other plants as listed in Annex 1.
