Programme of special control over the presence of quarantine harmful organisms on stone fruits on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021.

This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of measures of special supervision over the presence of quarantine pests on stone fruits in Republika Srpska in 2021. The goal of this Programme is to determine attendance, that is absence of quarantine pests in places engaged in production of planting material, in production plantations of host plants, and at points of entry of planting consignments/materials of host plants that are imported. The main plants host of quarantine pest Xanthomonas arboricola pv. pruni - the cause of bacterial spotting of leaves and cancer-wounds of stone fruit trees are: Prunus spp., especially peach Prunus persica (L.) Batsch, plum Prunus domestica L., apricot Prunus armeniaca L., cherry Prunus cerasus L., cherry Prunus avium L., almond Prunus amygdalus (Mill.) D. A. Webb, P. japonica Thunb., P. salicina Lidl., as well as other ornamental species of the genus Prunus.
