Abstract
This Special surveillance programme, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of management of those measures, entities that will implement them, sources and the manner of providing and using of funds, and the manner of control over the implementation of special presence control measures as regards the presence of the quarantine harmful organism Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (Liefting et al.) - the causative agent of zebra potato chips in the Republic of Srpska in 2020. Special surveillance in relation to the detection of this quarantine harmful organism shall be carried out at the borders and on the entire territory of the Republika Srpska. Plant species that host this pathogen in the Republic of Srpska are: potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.), tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum L.), paprika (Capsicum annuum L.), eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), carrot (Daucus carota L.) and other plants listed in Annex 1 of this text. The Annex further contains sampling indications and samples of relative reporting forms.
