Programme of special control over the presence of the quarantine harmful organism Grapevine flavescence dorée phytoplasma, FD in the Republic of Srpska in 2021.

This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of such measures, entities implementing them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of measures of special supervision over the presence of harmful organism Grapevine fl avescence dorée phytoplasma, FD on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The goal of this Programme is to determine attendance, that is absence of above mentioned quarantine harmful organism at places of production of planting material, in production plantations of host plants, and at places of entry of consignments of planting material that are imported into the Republic of Srpska. Special supervision for the purpose of detection of quarantine harmful organism shall be carried out at border crossings and at the entire territory of the Republika Srpska where the production of planting material is based and where the production plantations of the host plants are actually located. Main host plant of the pest causing golden yellow of the vine, Grapevine flavescence dorée phytoplasma, FD are vines (Vitis spp), besides its presence was found on the clematis (Clematis vitalba L.), jovi (Alnus spp.) and spider or acid wood (Ailanthus altissima [Mill.] Swingle), hazel (Corylus avellana L.), willow (Salix sp.) and others. So far it has been established that Grapevine fl avescence dorée phytoplasma, FD transmits Scaphoideus titanus Ball from infected to healthy grapevine, and in Italy and Serbia it has been established that Dictyophara europaea L. also participates in the transmission from infected pavit to vine, Oncopsis alni Schrank participate in the transfer of phytoplasma from jove to grapevine, the vector role of Orientus was also determined ishidae Matsumura.
