Abstract
This Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of measures of special supervision over the presence of Monilinia fructicola (Winter) Honey which causes the American brown rot of apple and stone fruits, on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The aim of this Programme is to determine the presence or absence of the quarantine pest Monilinia fructicola - the causative agent of American brown rot of apple and stone fruits, at points of entry of consignments of host plants that are imported, also in parent orchards of registered plant nurseries, on farms and backyards, as well as in production plantations of plant species that are considered as pathogen hosts. Plant species hosts of this pathogen are stone fruit species from the genus Prunus, apple species, as well as other plants (as specified in Annex 1).
