Regulation on animal health conditions related to the production, processing, placing on the market and introduction of products of animal origin intended for human consumption.

This Regulation here determines general conditions of animal health which shall apply to all stages of production, processing and placing on the market, and to imports into Bosnia and Herzegovina of products of animal origin and products obtained from animals, which are intended for human consumption.
This text further indicates the terms of official veterinary controls and documents required for monitoring over these products when imported into Bosnia and Herzegovina, including issues on diseases of importance for trade with products of animal origin. General animal health conditions in relation to this Regulation are listed in article 3. Exemptions are listed in article 4. Article 5 sets out issues regarding official veterinary controls. Article 6 sets the rules on imports, and article 7 indicates the obligations in relation to approved import facilities. Related documents are indicated in article 8. Competent authorities may organize official controls in countries exporting to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at all stages of production, processing and placing on the market, for the purpose of verifying compliance or equivalence of animal health regulations from those countries with the regulations in force in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Inspection and audit, article 9).
