Abstract
This Regulation defines the necessary conditions and manner for the performance of felling (timber activities in forest areas) and silvi-culture works (including forest maintenance tasks) in private forests.
This text determines that in private forests, trees can only be felled after o obtaining the mandatory cantonal felling permit that has to be requested from the forestry administration in charge. Also appropriate marking of threes has to be performed before any timber related activities (see article II). Article III sets out the rules on minimum education and professional qualification of persons that can be engaged in the creation of projects for the execution of felling works and marking of corresponding trees for felling.
