Abstract
This Regulation sets out the conditions and procedures for obtaining financial support for rural development in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It applies to both legal and natural persons (clients) seeking support for investments in agriculture and rural development. Support is grouped into three categories: Increasing competitiveness (investments in farms, machinery, equipment, breeding animals, construction, perennial crops, food industry, and support for young farmers); Environmental protection (certification of organic production); Diversification of rural activities (processing agricultural products on farms). Eligible sectors include dairy and meat cattle, sheep and goats, pigs, poultry, indigenous breeds, fruit, vegetables, flowers, vineyards, olives, cereals, medicinal plants, mushrooms, beekeeping, and fisheries.
Applications must be submitted on prescribed forms with supporting documentation. Deadlines for submission depend on the type of measure. Applications are submitted to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management, and Forestry. Specific documentation shall be required for each type of investment (machinery, equipment, breeding animals, construction, perennial crops, food industry, organic certification, etc.).
The Annex is also part of this text (full set of designated administrative sheets and forms, parameter lists and criteria).
