Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the conditions aimed to ensure the retention the necessary quality of seeds of forest and horticultural varieties of trees and shrubs. Seeds that are placed on the market must be kept, managed and stored in conditions that ensure that its quality shall be maintained until the effective expiration of the validity of such seed lot, including the expiration of its related quality certificate/declaration. This kind of seed quality declaration is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of its issue.
In dry cold storage, the seeds are stored at a temperature above the freezing point (0-3 ° C). For the purposes of this method, a refrigerator or refrigerator is used depending on the amount of seeds stored.
