Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Veterinary Law (Republika Srpska), prescribes necessary control measures for salmonellosis, carried out by subjects entered in the Register of farms, in flocks of chickens of the species Gallus gallus reared for meat production (fattening broilers) on the territory of Republika Srpska. This text also indicates the method of implementing measures for early detection, diagnostics and authorized veterinary diagnostic laboratories performing diagnostic tests, as well as measures to be taken in case of suspicion and confirmed case of salmonellosis in order to prevent the spread of such animal disease. The aim of these measures is reducing the prevalence of Salmonella enteritidis or Salmonella typhimurium as specified in article 2.
