Regulation on the control of salmonellosis in flocks of laying hens and in production of table eggs of species Gallus gallus in Republika Srpska.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Veterinary Law (Republic of Srpska), prescribes measures for the control of salmonellosis carried out by entities entered in the Register of farms with flocks of laying hens and control of consumer production of eggs of Gallus gallus in the Republic of Srpska, method of implementation of measures for early detection, diagnostics and authorized veterinary diagnostic laboratories in which diagnostics are carried in relation to measures taken in cases of suspected and/or confirmed case of salmonellosis, with the aim of prevention of the spread of such disease. The purpose of these measures is a decrease in the prevalence of Salmonella enteritidis or Salmonella typhimurium (including monophasic Salmonella typhimurium with antigenic formula 1,4, (5), 12: i) in flocks of adult laying hens of the species Gallus gallus on all holdings which produce table eggs for at least 10% per year.
