This Regulation determines the amount of compensation for damage caused by natural or legal person to the user of certain fishing area/zone, including the manner for determining the compensation for damage caused to the fish stock.
The text further defines the distribution of funds that are realized on the basis of this Regulation. If the damage to the fish stock was caused by the death of fish as a result of water pollution by registered water pollutants, in addition to already mentioned compensation costs, the costs of rehabilitation of watercourses, preservation and renewal of fish stock (restocking of fishing water) shall be also added to the overall damage compensation cost. For fish species that are not determined as protected under the provisions of the federal Law on freshwater fisheries, the amount of compensation shall be determined by the user of that fishing area.
