Abstract
This Law prescribes various freshwater fishing issues as follows: status of fishing waters, fishing activities, aquaculture, protection of fish, fish warden service, administrative and inspection supervision and rules.
Fish in the fishing waters are used in a sustainable manner that contributes to the conservation of biological diversity of the national ecological system.
Fish in freshwater fishing waters can be fished and grown (on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) only under conditions prescribed by this Law and other regulations adopted thereunder.
The Law is divided into IX Chapters and 62 articles, including offences and related penalties.
