Abstract
This Regulation ensures that the confirmation of vesicular swine diseases and the differential diagnosis of foot-and-mouth disease is performed in accordance with procedures, sampling methods and criteria aimed to correctly evaluate the results of laboratory tests, as determined in the manual from the Annex of this Regulation.
These procedures are meant for: determining the clinical signs of the disease; detection of virus, antigen or genome in samples of epithelial tissue, vesicular fluid, or animal feces; determining the reaction of specific antibodies in analyzed serum samples. Article 2 determines the rules regarding the application of laboratory tests in referent laboratories (as listed in the Annex II, part 6 of the Regulation on measures to control certain animal diseases and special measures for swine vesicular disease (published in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina 15/2011).
