Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the methods of preparation and selection of eco-labels, conditions and procedures for obtaining of the same.
As defined by this Regulation, the Ecolabel is a environmental label that is awarded on the basis of established criteria, with the participation of experts and public with the application of precisely defined rules and procedures, and refers to the quality from of the environmental protection during the entire life cycle and indicates the product in relation to similar or same products that have effectively reduced environmental impact.
The Eco-label may be awarded to products and services, consumer goods, except food, beverages and pharmaceutical products, in accordance with the products defined as eco-labelled by the European Community.
