Regulation on the establishment and management of the water information system.

This Regulation determines the establishment and management of the Water Information System, including methods of collection, systematization and storage of related data, access to information, and data processing and presentation. Water information system is here defined as a network-oriented, modular system that enables continuous storage, connection, monitoring and processing of data, as well as presentation and transmission of related information in the field of water management.
The water information system is established at the level of water areas for: Sava River Basin; and for water area of the Adriatic Sea. Related responsibilities of river basin agencies are laid down in article 5. Access to information is subject of the Chapter III (articles 7-10).
