Abstract
This Regulation, in terms of food safety, provides the manner and method for correct and permitted use of additives in food and foodstuff production and processing, also in order to ensure the necessary market issues, high level of protection of human health, consumer interests, respect of environmental protection related suggestions, and appropriate marking and labelling of such substances or food containing such substances.
This text transposes the rules and provisions contained in the: Commission Regulation (EC) 1333/2008 on food additives and provisions as defined by the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 231/2012 of March 9, 2012 regarding the specification for food additives from Annexes II and III of Regulation (EU) No 1333/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
The Annex is part of this publication (full technical requirements, classification of additives and other observed parameters).
