Abstract
This Regulation, in relation to the necessary food safety issues, establishes the rules for the correct and safe use of food enzymes, including those used as auxiliaries in food production, in order to ensure the appropriate market measures, high level of protection of human health and consumer interests/fair practice in food trade.
This text closely determines the list of approved food enzymes, technical and technological conditions for the use of food enzymes (including those considered as genetically altered or modified), and methods of labelling of such substances and foodstuff containing such substances.
