Abstract
This Regulation determines the necessary food safety issues and provisions as regards the food products such as fruit jams, jellies, marmalades and sweet chestnut puree.
This text closely sets the: general requirements and conditions for production, placing on the market and labelling of fruits jams, jellies, jams, jam and sweet chestnuts puree; official product names; ingredients, type and quantity of raw materials that can be used during the production and processing procedures; minimum properties of such products; allowed use of additives and auxiliary substances; and legal references for related official controls and inspections.
The Annex is part of this publication (technical issues, list of raw materials and other).
