Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Veterinary Law (Republika Srpska), prescribes the conditions regarding infectious diseases, as well as health conditions that must be met by animal semen, ova and embryos, as well as detailed issues and requirements for minimum ability conditions that are necessary for animal fertilization. Prior to the introduction of new animals into the reproductive organization, they must be kept in quarantine for 21 days, at least 200 m away from the place where other animals that serve as donors of semen, ova and embryo are kept. The reproduction organization is obliged to provide constant health surveillance of its breeding animals. Every animal that will be used for the purpose of taking semen, eggs and embryos must be physical examined for: (male animals) fitness status, foot position, BSE (Breeding Soudness Examination) test, ability to fertilize, nutritional status, size, appearance and consistency of the scrotum, appearance of the animal in terms of suspicion of the individual diseases; (female animals) fitness status, nutritional status, appearance of external and internal genitals, hormonal status, appearance of the animal in terms of suspicion of certain diseases.
