Regulation on the manner and methodology of expert inspection of planting material production.

This Regulation prescribes the manner and methodology of expert inspection of forest and horticultural production of planting material. The production of planting material of forest and horticultural varieties is defined in article 3 of the Federal Law on seeds and seedlings of forest and horticultural trees and shrubs. The production of forest and horticultural planting material is subject to mandatory expert inspection twice a year, at the beginning and at the end of the vegetation period (spring expert review and autumn expert review). This kind of expert inspection can be carried out several times at the request of the producer of planting material. The expert examination is performed by an institution authorized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.
