Regulation on the manner of sale of forest wood assortments originating from state forests on the territory of FBiH.

This Regulation prescribes the manner of sale of forest wood assortments originating from state forests on territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This text sets out an obligation of transparent and market oriented treatment, goals, manner and general conditions of timber sale, calculation of the minimum price and supervision over the application of indicated rules. General objectives of this Regulation are to develop the timber market, establish market prices and enable all interested buyers to accept the common conditions of procurement of forest wood assortments; to build a sales system that excludes illegal actions and individual decision-making when choosing customers and pricing, and the distribution of quantities per each customers.; to completely separate administrative from economic functions and to enable the complete implementation of the Law on forests.
The actual sale of forest wood assortments from state forests is performed in the following ways: by successive delivery; by auction; in retail for needs of the rural population. Based on the annual plan of production of forest wood assortments, the cantonal forest company plans and quantities its sailing assortment according to above listed sales methods.
