Abstract
This Regulation prescribes the requirements necessary for the placing on the market and correct use of animal feed (animals intended for food production and animals that are not intended to be used for food production purposes), including the requirements for labelling, packaging and presentation of animal feed.
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply without prejudice to the provisions part of special regulations regarding the field of animal nutrition.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to the water that the animals are drinking and that is intentionally incorporated into their feed. The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to the feed that is given to animals with the addition of water.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
