Abstract
This Regulation determines the necessary food safety technical requirements, provisions and conditions to be respected as regards the use of materials and objects made of film (here described as a thin layer of material obtained from refined pulp cellulose obtained from non-recycled wood or cotton) of regenerated cellulose, that come into direct contact with food and foodstuff.
This text also defines the related official control and inspection provisions, declaration of conformity issues, and specific issues for the production of such food packaging or food contact materials.
The Annex is part of this publication (containing the list of substances approved in the production process).
