Regulation on measures for the control and eradication of trichinosis animals

This Regulation prescribes all necessary measures for the ordinary control and eradication of animal trichinosis, also defining the duties and responsibilities of authorized veterinary organizations that perform inspection tasks related to the presence of Trichinella spiralis in meat and meat products deriving from animals.
This Regulation further provides for the complete classification of possible situations and conditions to be considered, including the concrete practices and technical requirements for the inspection and other tasks aimed to control, suppress and eradicate this infectious harmful disease.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.
