Regulation on methods of data processing of results obtained in the experimental field and in the laboratory in variety testing.

This Regulation prescribes the parameters on the basis of which data on variety testing in the experimental field and in the laboratory are obtained and the methods for processing the obtained data. Variety testing in the experimental field, i.e. in the laboratory, shall be carried out by an authorized institution (testing contractor). The testing contractor must prove that he is the owner of the land or that he has a land lease contract concluded for several years. The fulfillment of the conditions for performing variety testing tasks shall be determined by a decision of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. The experimenter for testing varieties of agricultural plants determines the production and utility value of the variety based on the results of testing certain essential characteristics of the variety, which relate to: 1) grain yield, 2) grain quality, 3) grain moisture content at the time of harvest, 4) lodging resistance, 5) resistance or tolerance to diseases and 6) tolerance to a certain plant protection product.
