Regulation on methods of variety maintenance.

This Regulation prescribes the obligations of the variety maintainer, the control of variety maintenance and the loss of the right to maintain a variety. The variety maintainer is the owner of the variety or his authorized representative, as well as a legal entity, or an entrepreneur authorized by the owner of the variety, or his authorized representative, to maintain the variety, with the exception of domesticated varieties whose maintainer is determined by the Minister by decision. A domesticated variety is an autochthonous domestic and domesticated foreign variety entered in the Register of Agricultural Plant Varieties.
