Abstract
This Regulation determines the official microbiological criteria for animal feed, as listed in the technical part of the information here published.
This Regulation defines the highest permissible quantity/number of saprophyte microorganisms in animal feed, the highest number of pathogenic microorganisms in animal feed, and determines the effective content of toxins-toxigenic bacteria that can be tolerated per each related microorganism (such as Salmonella, Clostridium botulinum, Clostridium perfigens, Staphylococcus pyogenes).
