Regulation on minimum technical, spatial and other conditions for tobacco production.

This Regulation prescribes the conditions that a tobacco producer must meet in order to be engaged in the production of raw leaf tobacco, the obligations of the organizer of tobacco production and purchase or tobacco processor, production reporting and yield estimates. The tobacco production contract, concluded between a tobacco producer and an organizer of tobacco production and purchase or a tobacco processor, shall contain specific elements that are listed in article 2. In order for a tobacco producer to conclude a contract for the production and delivery of tobacco with an organizer of tobacco production and purchase or a tobacco processor, the land for tobacco production must be privately owned or used on some other legal basis (donation contract, lease contract, concession contract, contract for the transfer of land for use, etc.). The land used by the tobacco producer for production must be recorded in the Register of Agricultural Holdings.
