Regulation on noise intensity limit values.

This Regulation prescribes the detailed limit values of noise intensity in areas of the natural and built/constructed environment in accordance with the established purpose of the area, the method of measuring noise in open and closed spaces, as well as the spatial arrangement of areas (zones), with technical data/sheets given in the Annex. The provisions of this text will not apply to noise caused by a person who is himself exposed to noise, noise from everyday household activities, noise from residential areas, noise at the workplace, noise in catering facilities, noise generated in a means of transport or noise from military activities or activities for protection against natural disasters, as well as to noise originating from sound advertising from religious buildings (bells and electroacoustic devices). Acoustic zoning is implemented based on the purpose of the space, and within the framework of spatial and urban plans adopted by the competent authority of the local government unit.
