Abstract
This Regulation defines all necessary issues regarding the foods enriched with nutrients (such as vitamins, minerals and other as listed). These provisions are also aimed for foodstuff intended for special dietary use, but only if not previously regulated and classified as such by other and more specific national legislation.
This Regulation closely sets the rules related to the production, composition and processing, placing on the market and trade/market authorization, consumer protection, labelling and declarations, and some direct food business operator obligations.
