Abstract
This Regulation provides for food safety related provisions aimed for olive oil, here regarding the specific end consumer market and trade standards.
This text also sets the classification (virgin olive oils; and extra virgin olive oils), technological procedures for production and processing of olive oil, chemical and physical composition; packaging, declaration and labelling issues; and official control and inspection references (article 11).
The Annex is part of this publication (containing the list of technical and chemical properties).
