Abstract
This Regulation determines certain food safety provisions governing the panel (group of selected and trained organoleptic evaluators) authorization process for organoleptic analysis of virgin olive oils, including the methods for keeping the related registers and other authorization procedures.
Main task of such groups or panles are designated to determine the category of oil according to organoleptic properties and market standards; to verify the effective compliance with declared properties; and correct performance of necessary inspection duties.
The Annex is part of this publication (technical issues and requirements).
