Regulation on the procedure for the revision and renewal of environmental permits.

This Regulation prescribes the procedure for the review and renewal of environmental permits issued by the authority competent for issuing permits. The issued permit is subject to review, which is initiated by the competent authority ex officio or at the request of the responsible person. The competent authority shall ex officio initiate a review procedure if it determines: a) that the pollution caused by a given installation is so significant that the existing emission limit values prescribed in the permit must be reconsidered or new values in the permit need to be determined, b) that there have been significant changes in the best available techniques that enable a significant reduction of emissions without major costs, c) that the safety of work and activities requires the use of other techniques, d) that there is a risk that pollution will cause damage or damage has already occurred to the environment and human health, and e) that amendments to environmental protection regulations so require.
