Abstract
This Regulation, in relation to the necessary food safety issues, sets the rules aimed at governing the processed foods based on cereals and other similar foods intended for babies, infants and small children.
This text closely prescribes the: classification of foods under the terms here provided; the classification of age for different groups here described as consumers of this kind of foodstuff; conditions for composition, labelling and advertising, inspection and control matters; specific provisions regarding the supplement to nutrition aimed at normal food transition for young children.
The Annex is part of this publication (list of basic food components and ingredients).
