Abstract
This Regulation determines the food safety related provisions aimed for sugars (obtained from sugar beet cultivation).
This text sets the necessary basic requirements and conditions for processing and production (also as regards the possible use of additives), various trade and market rules, labelling and declaring of such products and/or substances, inspection and official control references, as well as other technological and technical-chemical requirements and values.
The Annex is part of this publication (containing the classification of sugars with their related values and data on chemical composition).
