Abstract
This Regulation determines the food safety related provisions aimed for table waters (treated, labelled and packaged drinking water for human consumption).
This text sets several quality issues, technological production and processing rules, marketing (import, export and storage), and packaging and labeling requirements; necessary data on composition, physical, chemical, and organoleptic properties; analytical methods for quality control; additional declaration requirements; necessary microbiological criteria; data collection and inspections provisions.
The Annex is part of this publication (containing the list of maximum allowed values of concentration of components that can be present in waters; administrative forms for the request of recognition for new waters).
