The Rulebook prescribes: the conditions under which certain harmful organisms, plants, plant products and regulated objects may be imported (or transported/transferred) for scientific purpose (also work on varietal selections); the necessary requirements in terms of space, professional and technical qualifications to be fulfilled by science and research organizations, related to the import or transport/transfer of materials here listed; the content of the application of all necessary licenses; and other specific obligations of the organization that uses these materials.
