Special control Programme for the presence of quarantine pest Geosmithia morbida Kolarik et al. - the causative agent of walnut cancer and the vector Pityophthorus juglandis Blackman - walnut bark beetle in the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021.

This Special control Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities that implement them, sources and manner for provision and use of funds, as well as the manner of control over the implementation of measures of special supervision over the presence of Geosmithia morbida Kolarik et al. - the causative agent of walnut cancer and the vector Pityophthorus juglandis Blackman – walnut bark beetles on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The goal of this Program is to determine the presence, or absence of quarantine pests Geosmithia morbid - the causative agent of walnut cancer and known vector of Pityophthorus juglandis - walnut bark beetle in parent plantations of registered plantations, on agricultural holdings and backyards, as well as in production plantations and public areas of plant species of host pathogens and vectors that are listed in the list of quarantine host plants (Annex 1).
