Special control Programme for the presence of quarantine viruses on Rubus spp. in the Republika Srpska for 2021.

This Special control Programme, based on the provisions of the Law on plant health protection (Republic of Srpska), determines the measures, deadlines, manner of implementation of measures, entities implementing them, sources and manner for provision and use of necessary funds, as well as the method of control implementation of measures of special control over the presence of the virus of Rubus spp. on the territory of Republika Srpska in 2021. The goal is to determine attendance, that is absence of Rubus spp. in Republika Srpska. Special surveillance for virus detection of Rubus spp. is carried out at borders and on the entire territory. Areas of work are places of entry into the Republika Srpska, registered nurseries of host plants, plants in circulation, as well as production plantations of host plants. This special surveillance Programme is intended for raspberries (Rubus idaeus L.) and blackberries (Rubus occidentalis L.) as most important host plants of the virus: Cherry leaf roll virus - cherry leaf curl virus (CLRV, genus Nepovirus, family Secoviridae), Tomato ringspot virus - tomato ringworm virus (ToRV, genus Nepovirus, family Secoviridae), Tobacco ring spot virus - ringworm virus of tobacco (TRSV, genus Nepovirus, family Secoviridae), Arabis mosaic virus - goose mosaic virus (ArMV, genus Nepovirus, family Secoviridae), Apple mosaic virus - apple mosaic virus (ApMV, genus Ilarvirus, family Bromoviridae), Raspberry bushy dwarf virus - raspberry shrub virus (RBDV, genus Idaeovirus).
