Special surveillance program for the presence of the quarantine harmful organism Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum, Candidatus Liberibacter africanus, Candidatus Liberibacter americanus and Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus in the territory of the Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes measures, deadlines, the method of implementing measures, entities implementing them, sources and the method of providing and using funds, as well as the method of controlling the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (Liefting et al.) - the causative agent of zebra mottled potato chips and the group Candidatus Liberibacter spp. on citrus fruits (Candidatus Liberibacter africanus, Candidatus Liberibacter americanus and Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus) on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The aim of this program is to determine the presence, or rather the absence, of the quarantine harmful organism Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum (Liefting et al.) and the group Candidatus Liberibacter spp. on citrus (Candidatus Liberibacter africanus, Candidatus Liberibacter americanus and Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus) in places of production of plant species hosts of the pathogen listed in Annex 1. Plant species hosts of Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum in the Republic of Srpska are: potato (Solanum tuberosum L.), tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.), pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), eggplant (Solanum melongena L.), carrot (Daucus carota L.), as well as other plants listed in Annex 1.
