Special surveillance program for the presence of the quarantine pest Phytophthora ramorum Werres, De Cock & Man in ‘t Veld sp. nov. - the causative agent of sudden death and drying of woody plants in the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024.

This program establishes measures, deadlines, the method of implementing measures, entities implementing them, sources and the method of providing and using funds, as well as the method of controlling the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of Phytophthora ramorum Werres, De Cock & Man in ‘t Veld sp. nov. - the causative agent of sudden death and drying of woody plants on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The objective of the Program is to determine the presence, or rather the absence, of the quarantine harmful organism Phytophthora ramorum on agricultural holdings and homesteads where host plants of P. ramorum are grown, which are listed in Annex 1. Special surveillance shall be carried out to investigate the wider area, i.e. the localities where the host plants are grown in the Republika Srpska, in order to determine the status of the investigated area for the specified organism, and to determine possible routes of entry or spread.
