Special surveillance program for the presence of the quarantine pest Acidovorax Citrulli (Schaad et al.) – the causative agent of bacterial spotting of watermelon fruits on the territory of the Republika Srpska in 2024.

This program determines the measures, deadlines, method of implementation of the measures, entities implementing them, sources and method of providing and using funds, area of operation, as well as the method of controlling the implementation of special surveillance measures over the presence of Acidovorax citrulli (Schaad et al.) - caused by of the pathogen of bacterial spotting of watermelon fruits on the territory of the Republic of Srpska in 2024. The aim of this program is to determine the presence or absence of this quarantine harmful organism in seedling producers, on agricultural holdings, in production crops of plant species that are hosts of the pathogen and at the points of entry of consignments of such plant varieties, which are subject to phytosanitary inspection upon import. List of host plants susceptible to infection by the bacterium Acidovorax citrulli is give in the Annex of this text.
